What to do if your lawyer will not return your call and you are paying him?

I hired a lawyer almost a year ago to resolve a custody case for me and he has done nothing but charge me money. The case is no further than it was a year ago and now he will not even respond to emails or phone calls. Should I fire him and take the chance of filing the paperwork on my own in court?
 
This is a misconduct of a Lawyer. First do the thing, File an application in the court against your lawyer,sue your lawyer in the court. . This will work.
