i'm planning a trip to NY... and i'm planning it day by day as i want to do the most i can... i'd like to know what can i do before or after visiting this museum... i mean something near so i won't have to use the train or a bus again! you see i'll be staying in brooklyn at my cousin's house and i don't wanna spend the whole day in trains... so i'm looking for a whole complete day of fun visiting stuff which is in the same area

thanks

Walk over to Strawberry Field on 72 and CPW take a look at the Dakota (the building that John Lennon lived in) while there, then walk across the park past Bethesda Fountain and either head north to the Metropolitan Museum of Art or go south to the Central Park Zoo, after the zo or the museum walk or take the bus down 5th ave and go to Rockerfeller Center
continue down 5th ave to 34th walk over to the Empire State building or go into Macy's dept store. Then you could walk or subway to the village and get some falafel on McDougal St in a little tiny shop called Mamoun's
The trains don't take long to get around Manhattan so don't worry.
Enjoy your visit

If you are going to NY in the summer or the early fall i would walk through central park before i went to the museum. Then id get something to eat before going to the museum. After MONH i would go enjoy some cocktails, but if you are not 21 i would go check out times square at night.
