Our son told us last night saying that he wanted to get out of the Army. He did great at BCT, and is now just starting his AIT. He now says he feels he's not supposed to be there and wants to get out. What should we do? How easy is it to leave the Army for just "not wanting to be there"? He is a very smart kid and does very well on the PT tests. Does anyone have any experience with a son or daughter who has gone through this, or has anyone in the military now experienced this? I would love some advice. I really hope and pray this is just a phase and he stays in.
