First of all, no I'm not going to kill it. It's an ordinary yellow, black garden spider who has built her web in one of our windows and she has 2 egg sacs. I read an article that when it gets colder they die out and it's already turning real cold outside. This is the first one I have seen in this area and would like to keep her, they are great at getting rid of annoying insects. I was wondering if I brought her inside, would she live until next spring when I could release her? Of course, it's getting colder and insects will be scarce....so what would I feed her?
Yes, some of you probably think I'm nuts, but that's ok. I just want serious answers to this question. Thanks.
I wasn't planning on messing with the egg sacs, they will hatch in the spring. I'm just sad that she will be dying soon and that's why I want to bring her inside.
