I live in nj where the tint laws can be any % for the rear windows. My last car had 35% on rear windows but it wasn't dark enough. Also, I want back window dark since I don't really have a trunk to hide things. Im considering 5% on rear sides and 15-20% for back. This way I can still see at night and if sides are darker the back will look darker too. The main purpose of the tints is for security/privacy. However I do like the look and it helps keep sun/heat out in summer. My interior is black and car is grey
