A dangerous killer gets caught in the sewer system. He then is transferred to an asylum/ prison. A female psychiatrist/ lawyer is sent to study/ observe him. The killer than breaks out of his cell and tries to escape. A male (security guard I think) sacrifices himself for the female to runaway.
The female psychiatrist finally escapes the building. The cops are supposed to show up at that time but no one arrives yet. So the female goes back in, locks down the prison/ asylum. and proceeds to make something out of a water bottle.
Sequences include: the killer kills a guard by squeezing his head through iron bars. The male and female hides in the ceiling- the ventilation system. The female hides in a custodian closet.
I watched this on tv as a kid and never got to finish it. I still don't know the film's title or actors/ directors. Have been trying to find the it for a long time. Please please help.
