What things can you do on a bluetooth headset?

Considering a blue tooth headset(like the jawbone) but what exactly does it all do?

Is it only meant for making calls wirelessly?

What features does bluetooth headsets have?



I'm assuming its not just to let others see that you belong in a mental institution and your crazy for talking to yourself?
