what the name of this book?

I don't know the name of this book or the author all i know that its about this boy who has this grandmother who is Dominican that tells him story about how his family is cruse and my teacher tells me that he spend time in the whole book trying to investigate the family cruse.
please tell me the name want to read this book
 
Sorry but I never heard of it. It sounds like it would be an interesting read, though. I am having the same trouble trying to remember the title of a book I partially read years ago lol. Good luck!
