okay so im a mechanic and i have my friend who asked me to refill her car with antifreeze and coolant, easy, well see first off i couldn't find the damn reserve tank now i found it filled it with anti freeze and it kind of over flowed cause i was wiping my hands and her boy friend wasn't watching it like i asked well when i was done i caped it off then i smoked my cigarette and kinda got a little ash on the radiator well and that's nothing. we drove the car and it was fine that night she calls me and say that the car is in drive and stuck in first gear then it fixed then when she would be going 60 it says shes only in 3rd gear and the speedometer was wrong now her breaks are messing up when she stops the car jerks and the check engine light is on and other things.
i think i might have put coolant in transmission fluid tank and if so then i would need to empty the fluid from the pain under the car then flush out it again then refill it. but i also think its the timing belt cause when she is driving she backs out doesn't stop all the way to put it in drive idk if that's it but can someone please help me ive been puzzling over this for three days and haven't slept so please help me but no dumb answers
