I read them, they're pretty good. But what the hell is with this hot debate over these stupid books? Who cares if you love them or hate them, they're just books. Jeez. I never thought that I'd be more irritated over a book debate than the Harry Potter series, but damned if this isn't just as silly. I also can't believe that people write thesis papers on this series. Seriously? For real? That is all. :D

Yeah, I don't get it either. I absolutely love the books, and have my own opinion, but I don't care if someone hates them. I'm not in any position to tell someone not to hate it.
I could go on about how I annoyed I am, but I may never stop ^_^

Dani, I am SO with you on this one.
And how many times can those people ask the same exact questions that everyone else has been asking for the last several months?
Ye Gods! Get a grip and read something else!

btw by posting this ? your adding to the Twilight phanomonon, so your debating. your debating about debate haha

twilight sucks
(sorry to anyone who gets affended
i dont get it books are amazing i love books they are like my life but seriously a debate is a bit far if u know what i mean

its probably because this happens anytime a book series becomes really popular.usually books dont make as much money as music or movies.but when they do like with harry potter authors are jealous and wonder why these books are so great.

Well actually, the thesis paper part makes sense, especially for someone whose major is in English/American Literature or Psychology. Just like any book, each character in the saga has their own personality that can be picked apart enough to make it something interesting to write about. I did a thesis paper in high school about Chuck Palahniuk's "Fight Club" based entirely on the character's personality disorders and how each one reacted to the other. Books are good for reports like that.

As far as the "hot debate" remark, I completely agree. No one should actually dislike someone else based on their different beliefs about what is simply a fictional story in a book. No book could make me do that. hahaha.

The most debated books in history are often religious or deal with a controversial topic. Perhaps Twilight has become a new religion? And Harry Potter also. Err wait, witchcraft already is a religion.
