He made it so people couldn't think for themselves. If you don't agree with the government, you will be killed. He started a war because they wanted control over the south. He wasn't the greatest, slavery wasn't why he started the war. There's alot more to it then what they teach in schools.

To build USA as USA is his great contribution.Otherwise it would have broken into several states and always riot between white and black people.No development,no democracy,no pride as American citizen.
