My boyfriend and I were having a discussion about how interracial couples were viewed 40 years ago. he told me that the television show that aired the first interracial kiss was Star trek between Kirk and Uhura. I said that an interracial kiss back then was probably as shocking and taboo as a gay /lesbian kiss was twenty years ago. That made me wonder what television show aired the first gay/ lesbian kiss and when did this kiss occur. Do any of you people out there know ?
