Hello all,

I currently am a long term ATT customer way back from the blue days...All my 5 family lines are up in May 2010 and I am looking at options.

I will give ATT the first crack at keeping me and my 5 lines, but the most I can expect would be some free midrange phones, no real discounts. I do not need any more minutes as I have over 6000 rollover because of A list.

I know all carriers have problems, good and bad coverage areas. I live in metro Detroit and ATT works well, Sprint covergae maps look goog where I live and work.

The cost for ATT is not cheap for 5 lines, and I get an employer discount of 25% on the first 2 lines, but with 1400 and family messaging, it is ~150 a month.

I was looking at Sprint because for about ~170 I can get 5 lines with everything after my employer 25% discount. For me to add web to all the phones, ATT will go up to well over 200 a month. I think VZW is even more. I like the idea of SPrints "everything" because it would be nice to always have GPS and internet on my phones.

I guess I am asking if anyone has switched from ATT to SPrint and were you dissapointed?

Thanks for any comments or thoughts you may have on my decision. I think these forums are a GREAT source of information. :clapping: :clapping:

I run Sprint and T-mobile. I don't live there, but have used both in the Detroit area and was satisfied on both as far as reception.

One other thing with Sprint is the any mobile. You could probably get by with very few minutes since only calls to landlines before 7 pm will count against your plan.
