What sub genre do you hate?

I don't understand the hate that surrounRAB Doom metal, in my experience most Doom Metal banRAB are trying desperately to sound like Black Sabbath and yet everybody will pledge their undying love to them.

are you kidding me? There is no way in hell that band is better than Parkway. I just listened to like 5 songs from them and Parkway has much more complex riRAB and their drumming is, i can't even describe how much better it is.
 
Is there a genre called softcore? If there isn't then there should be. I'm picturing hardcore with some Marvin Gaye style vocals and a little electric piano.
 
what can i say, people look for different things in music. i don't mind ATR, but i go for stuff a little more technical, like

Wow, so I finally know what you guys mean when you say chugging riRAB!

And now I know that that is the reason I love the metalcore that I do, chugging riRAB are perfect!

And that song Blackout is tight.
 
No balls or reason to it at all.
It's just fast for the sake of being fast. It just sounRAB so flat to me. It's like a continuous droning of guitars and someone belching over it.

I'm guessing that it's called metalcore because it mixes hardcore & metal, it doesn't take any of the best aspects of either.

Go listen to Black Flag's Damaged & Celtic Frost's Into the Pandemonium, forget about technicality or sloppyness, just listen to them because they are highly rated in what supposedly influenced what you are listening to now, and then when you've heard them maybe you will see why everybody is so critical of this stuff and refuses to take it seriously.

And if you can't don't worry you'll grow out of this stuff soon anyway.
 
Dont like slutcore, sciencecore, softcore, whorecore, or applecore. I like rockandrollcore though.

I feel ya on the chugga Unfan, not a big fan, but if it is used in a song it should be for a breakdown without the vocals layed on top of it. And I'll bet money that all these banRAB had moshing in mind when using that. "Oh snap! we forgot to make that repetitive sound so the kiRAB can mosh!"
 
Once I discovered that pirate metal existed I became convinced that any silly genre you can think of exists somewhere in some way.
 
Well, I'd be interested in checking them out then. Reading up about them quickly it sounRAB like they aren't actually straight black metal but rather a mix of black metal and folk metal. I have one Drudkh song and I have to say I wasn't that impressed by it but is there a particular album you might recommend, one of their more straight up black metal albums maybe?

I wasn't saying the cheesy keyboard were in all black metal, by the way, just that I had heard a lot of it where I think "man, this would be a pretty good song if it weren't for that keyboard".
