What Sub configuration will move more air?

I currently have 1 15 in a 6.6 cubic foot box tuned to 34hz. What would move more air, the 1 in the large box or 2 15's in two 2.6 cubic foot sealed boxes? The 1 15 is getting about 600 watts and with the two the ohm load will drop to where the amp puts out 1500rms, so 750 each. I know the box alone adds atleast three DB, but I notice the low bass notes make the sub smell so I think it has too much movement in the large box. The sub has a fs of 28.1hz.
