Gotta love young teenagers wanting a fast bike that sounds awesome.
Sounds like you are taking it way to fast. Trust me, I see kids my age (19) and up hop on a bike and end up in the hospital to a terrible crash one week later if not sooner. I have an 04 R6 that has no problem doing 130 plus and runs low 11s but I rarely ever take that thing over 10mph over the speed limit. Why? Four reasons... love it to death, have way to much respect for it, don't wanna get a ticket/end up in jail or have myself being strapped to a machine for it's duty is to save my life.
Take it slow and act smart. Take the MSF class before you do anything to be sure you want a bike, then buy all your gear, then call up insurance agents (it'll kill you if you want full coverage which is what I'll recommend - I'm 19, clean record and I pay $250 a month), and then buy one. I personally love Yamahas and aren't a fan of Gixxers mainly because of how many are on the road and just how they look. A lot of people like them but I like the Yamahas. Like I said, I have an 04 and I love it to death. There are many different aftermarket accessories for bikes but get one first and don't act stupid. I.E. - Tell your friends to come check out your bike and think you can handle all it has. Basically, don't hop on it, give it full throttle while poping your clutch. That'll be bad for many things. Number one, you'll be replacing your clutch, your end up on the ground and your insurance guy will be upset cause you will need to go through them the first week you have it.
But have fun if you get one. Just act smart and save the high speed and racing for the track. You may think your cool flying by people but you won't get nothing but laughs when you are speeding and you crash right in front of a bunch of people. Good luck, ride safe.
