What states would McCain have to win to win the election?

the question should be... can mccain with any state with common sense? the answer is no.... mccain is a retard like sarah palin.... his vp pick....
 
yes but Ohio is already on their way with voting early....they took busloads of homeless people to register the same day and vote....sounds like a liberal was behind this
 
Even if he does win Ohio and Flordia and Obama wins the rest of the states he is leading in...Obama still wins

So McCain is going to have to win Every state Bush won and do a repeat of '04
 
He has to do way more than that. As it stands right now according to realclearpolitics, all Obama has to do is win Minnesota and ONE more electoral vote. So in that scenario...McCain has to win EVERY toss up state left besides Minnesota. That is going to be very very hard.
 
Anything that would get him the majority. Ohio is almost gone so is Colorado, Nevada, Florida and Indiana are fading. That doesn't portend a very rosy image for the Republicans. But, McCain and Palin are both Westerners and they had at one point a shot at the West. Instead he took us back to Bushland and now they are probably toast.
 
He will lose both Ohio & Florida. I'd laugh though if he were to lose Arizona, and I hope he does.
 
he cant win, the ecconomy will kill him. people always vote their bellies in bad times and bad times are here the democrats do a lot better with running the country in bad times also they dont want another war mongling iddiot like bush for another 8 years

This is the way the states are expected to fall if there are no major changes in favor of McCain.


I switched a few states over to McCain, giving him all the ones where he is currently losing but had been expected to win. States like North Carolina, Florida, Ohio, Virginia, and New Hampshire.

Even with all that added on, he still lost by a few electoral votes. He'd have to pull all of those states, and probably Colorado as well before he'd take the win.

I just don't think he has it in him anymore.
 
He needs Florida, Missouri, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Virginia, Indiana, and North Carolina.
 
All the states that Obama is leading in, and he's not helping himself, nor is his choice of running mate, so it's all down hill from here.
 
He has to win all the states that Bush won, except for Iowa and New Mexico. If McCain loses even one more state than that, he loses.
 
I agree. It's really close in North Carolina too. Another 10 electoral votes wouldn't hurt.
 
With Obama's projected states he only needs Ohio to win. He dont really need Florida.
