What statement, treasury or enactment made U.S. a secular nation?

In history of United States, what thing did make USA to not be a christian nation.
I mean it can be a letter,statement,enactment or something.
 
In The Constitution: see 1st Amendment in the original Constitution of the United States " Relating to Religion,Free speech,Right of assembly and petition,"debars Congress from establishing a religion" or prohibiting free exercise of Religion, or abridging the Freedom of speech or of the press, or the right of the people peacefully to assemble and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.

The Right to free speech and the Right to Free press, does not permit the publication of libels,blasphemous or other indecent articles, or other publication injurious to morals or private reputation. A Publisher is subject to punishment for contempt if his articles "tend" to obstruct the administration of justice. The Right to Free speech does not give immunity for every possible use of language.

(Me) Being Christian is but one of many religions free to Exercise this right.
