What spot on your body does it hurt least to get a tattoo?

I was thinking about getting a friendship tattoo with my best friend :]

I want it to be something small , I'm not going for a body mural. And I want it to be something with a meaning. What should I get?
 
like something small next to (not on) the hip, above the bikini line, i've heard that doesn't hurt at all
 
It varies according to how sensitive an individual is, but arms, forearms, back are pretty resilient to the pain.
 
Your not going to get a painless tattoo no matter where you get it.

Deciding on tattoo placement by the amount of pain you do not incur, means, you don't really want a tattoo or know why you are getting one.

Tattoo's are usually decisions made about body art and self expression, not lack of pain or your BFF Jill.
