A great sport that you could do right now is indoor track or track and field. You get to run, have fun, and compete in various aspects of track and field. It's fun and you'll get a great workout doing it. Also, see if you can do conditioning if they have sessions at your school. I know at my school, they have conditioning workouts for almost anyone that wants to get in shape.
