Recently I bought some used subs off my friend for $15, but I'll get back to that later. Then I bought some new 5 1/4's for my truck.
I have a 1996 Dodge Dakota Extended Cab, first of all I'm 99% sure the speakers in the extended cab are 5x7's... am I correct?
The subs are two 10" 500 Watt Lightning Audio's. I hooked them up to the wiring that went to my factory 5x7's because I didn't have an amp yet, so it was a makeshift way to get my subs pushing a little bit.
My question is how big of an amp do I need to push these subs? I also wanna get some new 5x7's what should I get? I'm trying to keep it relatively cheap so... what do ya think?
