...share during broadcasts? I'm a huge college basketball fan and love some of the stats that commentators share during the game. But where do they get their information? Are there databases or other sources somewhere that can be publicly accessed? Also, is there someone getting paid to research these interesting little facts and give them to the commentators for use during the broadcast?
keep in mind, I'm not referring to simple stats like a players points per game, or things that anyone can find out on espn.com.
