I suppose this is all opinion and preference which is fine. I live with 2 Italians. I have neighbours from Rome, and a close relative is from Northern Italy. I live in Toronto Ontario. The Toronto area has the highest population of Italians outside of Italy in the world. So seeing, hearing Italian is common practise for me. All the time you hear 'What do you like more? French or Italian?' - Two very similar languages as they relate to each other over history through Latin since Roman Times when Julius Caesar Conquered Gaul(France).
Myself.. I have no idea how people think Italian sounds better than French. To me French is the most musical sounding language. I love to just listen to people speak French, even if I don't know what they are saying. They could be talking bad about me and I'd still be like 'wow, that sounds great even though you hate me!' haha. Even French Canadian sounds better than Italian in my opinion, and French Canadian to France citizens sounds like a weird hillbilly version of what they speak.
I don't know.. I just think French sounds better than Italian! What do you think?
Gaelic is pretty cool.
