I want to mainly look at band photography, mostly portraiture work, but obviously I will also probably cover live photography as well. I have taken a book on Mick Rock from the library; I really like his style and there are so many photographs he has taken, mainly the ones I know from the glam rock days, which are Iconic and beautiful.

I am also going to look at work by David Bailey, Annie Lebovitz, Denis O'Regan and Tom Murray [the beatles photographer].

I really mainly want to focus on rock bands and artists.. should I perhaps look into the history of music photography? looking at the first bands/groups to be photographed?

Any other suggestions?
Any well known photographers whom solely focus on music photography, live and portraiture.

thanks :]
