What size motor, or how can I find out what size motor is in a 2003 ford focus

it's either a 2.0 zetec, 2.0 duratec, 2.3 duratec, or SPI. as stated before, the underhood sticker will tell you. either size duratec will use the same alternator.
 
hatchback automatic? I need to buy an alternator for my stepdaughter's car. She lives 100 miles away, and cant figure out how to tell me what size the motor is. How can I figure it out. Is it in the manual?
 
Ford install a number of various engines in the Focus. The obvious method would be to look at the registration papers.

I'm assuming that you are in North America, in which case, the most usual engine choices are the 2.0L and 2.3L in-line four cylinder engines.
