What size fishing rod do you prefer?

If you like crank baiting best in bass fishing then tell me what length you like the rod to be then, or if you like jigging for walleye, etc. Whatever you like best, what size rod do you use for it?
I normally like a 6 foot rod for almost any fishing. Sometimes a 6'6 for drop-shotting in bass fishing but, overall for everything i would like a 6 foot rod. How about you?
I normally use a 5'6 rod panfishing.
 
hey man, i only use 2 different sized rods for freshwater fishing 6 foot medium action when cranking or using plastics for bass and when going after catfish and the other is a 7 foot light action when going after pan fish. i guess that the type of rod to use really all depends on the fisherman. to each is own i guess. i like medium rare steak you might like over cooked steak. in the long run it is still steak. i hope this helps you out a bit. good luck good fishin be safe and remember to share the experience
