WHAT SIZE CAR BATTERY IS BEST FOR AN 2003 FORD MUSTANG?

I'M TRYING TO SAVE ME SOME MONEY AND WELL WALMART RECOMENDS I GET A BIGGER BATTERY. I CANNOT AFFORD THE BATTERY THAT MATCHES MY CAR I CAN ONLY AFFORD THE $50 ONE. IS IT BAD FOR MY CAR IF I USE THIS ONE? THANKS EVERYONE FOR UR HELP
 
you can use smaller no prob but if gets cold you going have prob if you got v8 so keep in garage or bring battery in house evernight but more cranking amps the better how aford gt i got 2002 if cant aford a battery.650 amp do just fine but i use 800 or if real want save money go junk yard buy good one about 30 50 bucks test it before buying.
 
If you don't get the battery that is for your car then your car won't run. Your battery has to be a certain size in order to supply power to your alternator, which in turn supplies power to your starter, AC, heat, radio, power locks, power windows, etc. and if you have a DVD player or a stereo system in your car (basically any add on's) then you would need a larger battery to supply more power. Wal-mart is fine to buy a battery, but you may be able to find a refurbished one at an auto parts store, like o'reilly, auto zone or Advance for cheaper then they have them at Wal-mart.
 
don't go to walmart, go to a parts store like autozone, advanced auto parts, napa, pep boys, that sorta thing

as to what battery is best the stock is best as long as the mustang electrical system is stock, if you put one in thats not "strong" enough for yoiur car then you'll have trouble starting it sometimes because the battery is what helps crank the car up at every start up
