What size amp do I need for 2 12" Kicker Cmps?

I got 2 new Kicker Comps and i dont know what size amp to use? I also don't know if my amp should be "Mono" or "2-ch." Can someone please help me out? Thanks Ben.
 
Depends on the impedance of the subs.

If you got the 4 ohm model, I'd go with a 300W mono amp.
If you got the 8 ohm model, I'd go with a 300W 2-ch A/B amp that has a rating of 300W RMS bridged mono at 4 ohm.
 
you can do it either way mono or 2 channel its up to you just the wiring would be a little different with the mono.. and how many watts rms are your subs? your always looking for something similar in wattage rms in an amp as in your sub.. or atleast no less or youll make your amp work to hard and you wont get the true potential out of your subs and you should never have to turn the gain on your amp all the way up.. also amps or subs with limit controls in the front on the deck or elsewhere are very handy.
