What should I wear for my engagement photos? (beach)?

We are having our engagement photos taken in a couple weeks at Morro Bay. I have no idea what to wear. I want to look cute but not dressy since it'll be at the coast. I need some help. I am 5'8 and weigh 120 so I'm thin.
I'm thinking about wearing some cute capris with flip flops and maybe a cute short sleeve shirt, maybe black or white...
i'm not much of a dress person. I have hardly even worn a dress so I don't think I'd feel comfortable doing that.
 
I think Capri's will be okay, double check w/your photog. Make sure you and your fi wear similar colors. My sister in law is a photographer and I believe she usually goes over w/her clients what works and what doesn't, that's why you're hiring someone.

If your using a friend or family member to take them (not hiring someone), the my suggestion would be probably a dark colored shirt - and matching with your fi. When my brother married his photographer-wife, they did family portraits the night before -both they and my brothers girls wore dark jeans and dark T-shirts so there's uniformity and balance in the pictures. Personally, I think a white shirt on beach photos may end up looking washed out -- - but then again, I am NOT a photographer...


I lLOVE, LOVE, LOVE Morro Bay - I have family there - and spent most of my summers growing up there. I think those will be AWESOME pictures!

i would wear either a black or white tank top, that has a little bit of a girly edge to it with khaki capris and barefoot or tan flipflops.
just my opinion.
