I am running a Kicker Solobaric S12L7 with a Kicker ZX750.1. They are both 750W RMS. What should I set the gain, crossover frequency, and bass boost to on the amp?
there is no perfect magical setting for your situation. Some will tell you to turn up the gain 1/2 way other all the way up and so on with the rest. It will require you to decide what cutoff frequency you want the amp to provide to the subwoofer. you will have to play with the volume and the amp gain until the sound is just right and you hear no distortion with the overall components of the system working in harmony not just a bunch of thumping and no real music. Alot of people don't know how or can't get the tuning part of installing a system so if experimenting doesn't do it take it to a reputable car audio store or a friend who knows what they are doing.
