What should I put in a 10 gallon fish tank?

I'm starting a freshwater aquarium; it's 10 gallons, and I was thinking of doing a tropical freshwater assortment of fishes. I was thinking of guppies or platies, but how many of them? Also, should I put ghost shrimp in there to "clean up" the tank as well?

you should put a sucker fish it eats the algi(the green fuzzy stuff)from the fish tank

get one male dwarf groumie, one female dwarf groumie, 2 platys, 2 guppies, and 8 shrimp as your clean up crew. to tell males and females apart for guppies and groumies, the males are better looking and more color full.

get an algae eater to clean up..but don't get one until after at least 3 weeks. if you get one before then there wont be enough algae for him and he'll die.
