What should I have an author write in a book for my mom and for my sister?

I am going to order a book and have the author sign it and put an inscription in it as a Christmas present for my mom and my sister. I'm just not sure what it should say (we get to pick). My sister and I aren't very close so I don't want something really mushy. My mom and I are very close, but again, not super mushy.

Any suggestions? I'm stumped.
