What should I get to spice my car audio system?

I have a 2006 Hyundai Sonata that is completely stock. I don't really care about bass and super incredible sound quality I just want a simple upgrade without breaking the bank. If I get two 6x9s to put in the rear area below the back window will I need an amp? Or is a 10" sub pretty much a necessity to make it sound decent?

Any brand recommendations and ideas to bump up the quality for a cheap upgrade would be great!

Find out what speakers sizes you need for the car, then go to Wal Mart and just replace the speakers in the doors and the ones in the rear. Another option is replace the head unit>
