It is really going to depend on what exactly your looking at doing with it. If your only going slight of roading with small rocks puddles things like that, you could get away with either stock or anything up tot 3.5 inch lift (nothing to mosterish) you can get kits on ebay for around 200-400 dollars. Also I would recommend going on JEEP forums .com and looking at some of those guys' jeeps to get a better idea. I do slight off roading and have a 3 inch lift, brush guard with winch (really recommended in case you get stuck and are alone), and tail light guards (so I dont bust my lights out) and it does great.
