cooking talent and very picky taste.? I usually eat on the dollar menu, which I'm sure every college student does for practical purposes. When I go grocery shopping, I usually buy pre-made foods, and as you can expect the bill is pricy.
One question I have: What sort of ingredients do I NEED to have in my kitchen; as in, which ones will be the most useful in making a variety of different foods?
I lack a lot of variety in my diet... I usually eat the same dull food everyday. I guess it's hard to explain what my tastes are, but do you have any sort of advice as to what kind of foods I should buy that are tasty, cheap and relatively easy to prepare? I notice that many people eat the same foods but add a little variety to the mix; different vegetables or spices. What kind of foods have potential for variety?
I'm barely ever home - My apartment is far from campus so I have no time to go home for lunch. What sort of foods can I pack in advance? I don't mean just snacks, I mean more filling meals.
I guess any other advice you could give me would be really great...
Thank you!
