I'm looking into racing mountain bikes next year, but could not find what to eat before a race. I've heard your supposed no earlier than three hours before the race, no meat or anything with a lot of protein. I heard a lot of people eat like toast, bagels, peanut butter sandwiches, bananas, oatmeal, etc. Just something with a lot of carbohydrates. So what would be a good pre-race meal?
