Hi everybody.. I bought a 2 months old maltese puppy to a breeder for less than a week ago.. On the first day he came, he didn't show any signs of being sick, moreover, he was very awake. The problems started to come on the next day...he was not as energetic as the day before, being very soft and anemic and afterthat i started to worry about. I went to the vet and she said to me that he problably got gastroenteritis already well underway at the point of making bloody diarrhea and vomits. Now he is taking antibiotics. Is that the breeder took him out the care of the mother too soon? Help me please 'cause I don't know what else to do with him and i'm very afraid that he might die...Thank you very much
This breeder has to many breeds so he is a professional breeder or at least that's what I think. The puppy even came with the microship ID. I already contacted him and he said to us that these kind of things are very rare but it can happens, mainly to a small breed.
