what should i do with old receivers?

the new procedure (from what i am hearing) is the previous owner has to call in to deactivate the reciver first before anyone else can use it. and i do not beleve the previous owner had time or even thought of deacivating every one of those recievers. i'd say take them to the recycle depot so they can shred them. with the new cards bell and dish have now you wouldn't get much for them from the non-legit users at this time
