i live in lockport NY (near buffalo) and i have an apartment. i would like to store the bike inside but idk if i can find a place to do that. i looked into getting a small trailer but i don't have the money for a 4x8 or bigger. storage places are not climate controlled and cost 100+ a month. im tight on cash so what should i do with the bike during the winter?
p.s. im not selling it. i love it

invest in a good quality waterproof motorcycle cover and use extra bungee cords to tie the cover down so the wind don't blow it off, but leave it open on the bottom so air can circulate so the moisture drys out that may be trapped inside, it would also be a good idea to keep a battery tender hooked up so the battery won't go dead, and maybe freeze.
You can also use a fuel stabilizer in the gas tank and over fill the oil in the crankcase, then drain the oil in the spring them fill it to the proper level with new oil

edit: I don't understand why i got a "thumbs down" for??
can you give me just ONE word i said thats incorrect?
maybe it was "leaving the bottom of the cover open"?

Well, inside storage is the best, but that's not an option I see.

Make sure to winterize your bike.

That's a link to winterizing your bike. But, feel free to google the topic and you'll find other lists as well. Best of luck.
