What should I do to my front fork suspension after mountain biking? Maintenance wise?

The fork gets wet and dirty. Am I supposed to spray it with bike lube or wd-40?
I want to make it last.

you are suppose to clean it off with a rag and try and get the dirt off the seals. NEVER EVER EVER put WD-40 on it. you can put a SMALL amount of chain lube around the seals to reduce stiction.

you should be rebuilding them as well, check your owners manual.

Do shouldn't have to do anything just don't use WD-40 that will remove any lubricant that is on the forks. You do want to clean the mud off once in a while.
