I will be graduting in May 2010 with a BFA in Ceramics. I would like to possibly study abroad, be an artist assistant, and things like that. How do I find those places other than search google which seems sumtimes "un-legit" to do?

They're out there. I'd ask your academic advisor for suggested programs. Also an MFA (or even MBA, as a successful art career is at least half business, half artistic talent) may be a route for you to take. It opens up the ability for you to teach at a Community college while promoting your artwork.

There aren't really any jobs in art unless you are going to be an art teacher. If you are getting ready to graduate, you should know that it isn't spelled "sumtimes".

In short, go see your counselor and keep you eyes and ears open in your college department. They can often point you in the right direction for studying abroad and put you on the right track for job searches as well
