We just moved in and she has a "everyone has something that is a code violation" attitude. She claims to know our house." "I am going to cause you as to have to pay as much as I can" I am pretty sure we are clear but with the code the way it is, it really does leave folks wide open for this kind of thing.
She claims my roommate is a "gangbanger" because he listens to hip hop and it was too loud, but now that he keeps it down they are still threatening harm because I haven't evicted him. He does nothing else wrong and is nice mellow college student.
She blamed thefts in the neighborhood on him, but these thefts I got a letter about before I and my roommate moved in. Otherwise we have been nothing but nice, clean respectful neighbors. But we keep getting these threatening calls of retaliation of some kind if he doesn't move out. (I suspect racism may be behind this behavior as my roommate is not white)
I really don't know what to do.
