of kilometers on my car? I had an oil change done 2 days before I took the car in for bodywork. The car is new and had under 8000 on it. It now has over 3000 more on it when I got it back. The bill the bodywork shop gave me, didn't state the number when it went in and when it came out of the shop. They had the car for 2 weeks. Is there anything I can do?

who did the oil change, the same shop? if not pehaps they wrote the milage at that point. you then would take them to court and sue them for un authorised use of your car while in their care. I cant speak for every place in the world but if your correct they were fraudulant for not writing the milage prior and afterwards. any judge here in the us would side with you when they see that the shop didnt write it down as this is a pretty strict rule here.

without proof of the milage in there's nothing you can do.In future record your milage when you drop off your car anr have the service writer sign your slip.

You can talk to the manager and complain about the high mileage that they put on it. Be ready to have an answer if they ask you how you want to be compensated and be sure to have some data to back your claim like the sticker during the oil change where you had the mileage readings. Good luck..

id ask them about it ,obviously someone has been driving it ,and that's something they shouldn't have had to do,you need to talk to them about it and see what the say first, good luck.

Approach them to seek compensation
Make police report if this fail
The bill should record the receipt and delivery mileage for the car, if not its their negligence
Seek legal advice/assistance
