what should I do if I am on suboxone and need to have a colonoscopy

I don't know much about colonoscopies, do they put you "under?" Do you need to take pain medication? You definitely need to talk to your doctor about this, but I'm pretty sure you would need to stop taking suboxone for at least a few days before going under anesthesia
 
Usually they give you something to relax and Versed so you don't remeraber them sticking a 5 foot long tube up your ...

Definitely talk to your physician about it first.

i just had one done recently and i am on 8 mgs of suboxone a day.
i was only given versed and woke up with no pain issues what so ever .
i hope everything goes well for you.
