I had a very small wound on the lower part of my leg from trying to squeeze a pimple. I know you are never supposed to do that but it was gross. Squeezing left the area red and painful. The next few days I covered it with a band aid and used neosporin. The area gradually got less red but today when I got out of the shower I examined it and barely applied pressure and pus came out. I didn't squeeze it out but instead applied a little pressure for the pus to come out. I then put on more neosporin and a band aid. I'm not sure if I got all the pus out and I'm afraid I might contract, if I haven't already, a really bad infection. I'll be going to the doctors in the next week. What should I do in the mean time?
