What should I do about the hit I found in the bottom of my car?

I have just received my car from the workshop and I found that there is a big hit in the bottom of the car. The car like if it was going down through a sidewalk and it was hit bad in the bottom. What should I do about that hit? Is it going to be corroded and the effect the life of the car.
 
go back to garage and ask them what happened. if they don't want to admit they hit something tell insurance company exactly what happened and when you noticed it they may fix it as a hit run accident and maybe they'll check with the garage that fixed it. good luck
 
Was it there when you took it in? If not, just tell the shop to fix it or you will get lawyers and sue their pants off. If it was there beforehand, take it to the same shop and ask them if it will cause any problems down the road. If they are a decent repair shop, they will look at it for free, especially if you just had your car there. They want to avoid a bad reputation if at all possible.
