I leave my 360 standing up when I'm playing, and laying down when I'm not. Well today i started GTA4, and as it was loading i realized that it wasnt standing up. so i began to tilt it, and this awful noise began to sound to i freaked out, set it back down, and turned it off. it sounded like the inside was eating itself or something, like someone was sending the machine through a shredder. Anyway, I took out the disc and looked it over and there is a scratch around the edge, it looks as if chunks are missing or something. it worked fine for a few hours, and now when I try to play, a white screen pops up saying that I should put the game in an Xbox 360 machine to play All my other games work fine, but this one doesn't.
I dont have enough money right now to go get a new one, so what should I do? I thought about renting it from blockbuster and switching them, but dont they check discs before and after they are rented out? Maybe if I rent it and go back to complain they wont suspect me.
