My financial aid package is about $49,000 and the cost of attendance is $48,000. My "Academic Competitiveness Grant (ACG)" is for 750 but my concern arose when I read that "The amount of the ACG, when combined with a Pell Grant, may not exceed the student's cost of attendance." So here's the actual question, should I cancel my Federal Unsubsidized Stafford Loan for $1000 so that my ACG will not be taken away?
