I'm about to start working (M-F; 8am-4pm). I can be getting home between 5:30-6:00PM. And a few days a week I will not be able to get into the gym before 8PM. I'm concerned that my workouts may not be as effective or efficient working out after I eat dinner. And I want to be sleep by 10:30PM or 11:00PM.
Should I:
A. Split my dinner up into two meals: eat half before the workout, and the rest after?
B. Eat dinner then go workout?
C. Push through the workout while hungry, and eat dinner afterwords?
D. Not workout during workdays.
I usually workout, then eat a heavy meal (typically high in protein). I'm not trying to lose weight. Just gain muscle, and get bigger.
Any suggestions are welcome regarding this. Thanks for the advice.
