So i purchased a car right before thanksgiving. I went to the DMV 2 days later to get the change of title done, paid my fees and everything but since i have 2 names on the car, they told me i need the signature of the other person. They told me that i can mail in the paper when i get it signed so i don't have to wait half the day @ the DMV.
So i mailed it with everything needed and what the DMV lady told me. Even sent it certified to Sacramento DMV. Its been a month and a half and i have yet to receive any papers from the DMV. Now the insurance company is telling me that they cant cover me anymore without the updated title. What should i do? I have my temp one that the DMV gave me. Any ideas? should i go to the DMV and ask for the title?
